The Brunel Museum’s successful crowdfunding campaign, The Art Of Engineering, has been shortlisted in the Digital Culture Awards in the Income Generation category.
The Digital Culture Awards are an awards opportunity presented by Arts Council England’s Digital Culture Network which celebrate and showcase digital and tech innovation in creativity and culture.
The Income Generation category looks for innovative ways of utilising digital technology to create revenue streams or to raise funds.
The Brunel Museum’s crowdfunding campaign shares the shortlist with three other exciting projects:
- Brunel Museum (again!) – Brunel Museum Online Shop
- Duggie Dundas – Dundas Digital
- We The Curious – Launching an online shop to generate income for We The Curious’ charitable aims
I’m very proud to see all the hard work recognised in this shortlisting – especially in a climate when many cultural and heritage organisations are struggling to find ways to fund their important work. Recognition like this is really an opportunity for all of us to share what we’ve learned and to learn from other organisations about what’s worked well for them.
