Campaign: The Edible Underwear Club
The Edible Underwear Club is a Christmas film for people who hate Christmas. Set in the least festive workplace imaginable—the call centre of The Boner Barn, a retailer of unique and hilariously cheeky gifts. Think “Cockzilla” and “The CUMberland” (yes, a sausage-shaped… well, you get the idea). Amid the soul-crushing fluorescent glow, boss Rod Johnson tries to inject some much-needed holiday cheer. Meanwhile, office drone Candy scrambles to sell 40,000 pairs of Christmas-themed edible underwear she accidentally ordered, and hapless new hire Will struggles to learn The Boner Barn’s R-rated phonetic alphabet: “A is for… yep, that.” When an unexpected tragedy strikes, this dysfunctional team of misfits discovers that sometimes the best way to survive the season isn’t with glittering lights or cheerful jingles, but by showing up for each other.
This offbeat Christmas movie delivers laughs, heart, and a little naughtiness—perfect for anyone who’s ever felt a bit Grinchy come December.
Brought together by Zoe and Luke, the masterminds behind Plot Twist Pictures. They used Kickstarter, a platform with a strong focus on independent creative projects and plenty of people who are keen to support grassroots filmmaking, and I supported them with guidance before and during the campaign.
