Campaign: Dr Strangedub – brand new album from Dub Colossus
After four years away, Dub Colossus returned with a brand new album, and decided to go the crowdfunding route to produce it, rather than working directly with a record label. I worked with them to run a campaign bringing in fans old and new from all over the world.
We couldn’t have achieved the level of success we had without Jo’s input. Without her help we would have missed several very important subjects – we didn’t know how much effort and attention to detail would be required to make it work. Her understanding and creative suggestions were incredibly useful. With her help, experience, good humour and insight, we hit the target and everyone involved was very very pleased with their rewards.

Titled Dr Strangedub (or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Dub The Bomb), the album comprises eight new tracks and six radical reworks and remixes of tracks from their fourth album “Addis to Omega” and is in the style of their Songlines award-winning third album “Dub Me Tender.” The albums and rewards are going into manufacture and the team is getting ready for release.
